Description
Crocuses are the first sign of spring and are therefore a symbol of renewal and rebirth. With the Crocus Ruby Giant, you can plant the early spring feeling in Autumn and enjoy the beautiful flowers in your garden at the end of winter/beginning of spring. The Ruby Giant has beautiful, deep purple flowers that will bring your garden back to life after a grey winter. You can plant the flowers separately, but it is best to plant them close together in large groups, creating a lovely full flowerbed. Crocuses can reach a height of about 10-12cm.
Care
Crocuses love the sun and are therefore planted in a sunny spot. The bulbs can be planted from September to mid-December at a depth of about 5cm. They can be planted at a distance of 5cm from each other for a nice effect and enough space for development and growth. Crocuses can grow in almost any soil, but they will do best in a nutrient-rich, humus-rich and well-drained soil.
Size
The crocuses grow to about 10-12cm high.
