Desert rose - 2 pcs. - Adenium obesum - Height 25-40cm - ⌀10,5cm

Description

The Adenium, better known as the desert rose, is a particularly beautiful plant. As the name suggests, it comes from the dry parts of the desert in East and North-East Africa. Locally, the Adenium can grow up to 5 metres high with a beautiful bare stem full of character. Fortunately, it will not grow as tall at home. A striking feature of the Adenium is its beautiful pink flowers, fresh green leaves and the whimsical shape of its stem.

Care
Since the Adenium is a desert rose, it needs a lot of sunlight, preferably facing south. If the Adenium does not receive enough light, it will not bloom. Regularly water de Adenium small sips of water. The plant usually flowers until the end of July and its second flowering period is in September to October. If the Adenium grows too large, you can prune it back partially, which is best done when it has finished flowering. If the plant develops side shoots, it is best to prune these off. In this way, the plant can focus its energy only on flowering at the top. When the plant is in flower, it needs more water than usual.

Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 10,5 cm.
