Description
Crassula ovata 'Minor', also known as the Dwarf Jade, is a compact variety of the popular succulent Crassula ovata. In Feng Shui philosophy, the Crassula is the symbol of financial luck, which is why it is also known as a money tree. The Crassula Minor has small, glossy green leaves that grow densely along the stems, giving it a bushy appearance. The Crassula ovata can produce pretty pink or white flowers in spring, making it even more beautiful. However, this is will most likely happen in warmer climates in the south of Europe. Flowers almost never appear in cooler climates. However, even without flowers the plant is a beautiful addition to any room.
Care
Crassula ovata 'Minor' likes to stand in bright, indirect sunlight but can tolerate partial shade. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, as overwatering can lead to root rot. When watering, make sure excess water drains away from the bottom of the pot to prevent the soil from becoming soggy. Fertilise the plant monthly during the growing season in spring and summer with a balanced, diluted fertiliser to promote healthy growth.
Size
The plant has a height of 45-50cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 23cm.
