Description
The Ilex Crenata Jenny is an improved version of the Ilex Crenata (also known as the Japanese holly). The plant is evergreen, disease-resistant and very easy to care for. In summer, small white flowers grow, which later turn into black berries. Birds particularly like these berries, especially in the winter months, so you often have cosy guests in your garden. Japanese holly is increasingly used as a Buxus substitute. This is because the Japanese holly does not suffer from fungi and moth, which Buxus can often suffer from. In addition, the plant is both hardy and evergreen, so you will enjoy the beautiful Japanese holly all year round. This Ilex Crenata Jenny has been pruned into a beautiful pyramid shape.
Care
Ilex Crenata Jenny prefers a sunny spot with occasional shade. It should be pruned at least 2 times a year, but for best shape retention 3 times is recommended. The plant can be pruned from May to September. For example, it can be pruned in May, once in July and the last time in July. Furthermore, the plant is very easygoing and can handle almost any weather conditions.
Size
The plant has a height of 55-65cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 21cm.
