Celebrate spring with the Magnolia Soulangeana! The Magnolia is a real eye-catcher in any garden. The Magnolia ‘Soulangeana’ is the most popular Magnolia variety, and this is not surprising. The Magnolia Soulangeana blooms in April with gorgeous large tulip-shaped flowers in a romantic light pink colour. These flowers are not only beautiful, they also spread a lovely scent. The plant can even get a second bloom in the summer months. The large, glossy leaves appear during or after flowering. Magnolia is deciduous and hardy.
Care
For abundant flowering, it is important to give Magnolia 'Soulangeana' a sunny spot in a rich, acidic soil. Magnolias do not need pruning: in fact, they grow best without pruning. Should you still want to prune the Magnolia, it is best to limit this to an occasional pruning. In winter, the bulbs need protection from freezing temperatures. The plant is not poisonous.
Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
