Description
The dwarf peach (Prunus persica 'Bonanza') is a peach tree in mini format. In the spring the branches of Prunus persica 'Bonanza' are covered with the beautiful pink blossom. The flowers are quite large and spread a subtle fragrance. The flowers are pollinated by insects, after which the yellow-orange fruits develop. Peaches can be harvested in the summer. They have a slightly hairy skin and delicious juicy flesh. In addition to the fragrant blossom, delicious peaches can be picked in the summer (ready for use in August). Let the fruit ripen for a while, because then they will be sweeter.
Care
Dwarf peach 'Bonanza' prefers a warm and sheltered spot in the garden or on the terrace. These peaches are self-pollinating and can therefore stand alone. Prunus persica 'Bonanza' is easy to grow. Water the peach tree regularly. If planted in pot, never let the roots dry out. Give some mixed organic manure in early spring. This dwarf form of the peach does not have to be pruned.
Size
The plant has a height of 60-70cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 15cm.
