Description
The popular Monstera Deliciosa is also called the Swiss Cheese plant, due to its special leaves. The plant grows holes in its leaves, the bigger the plant, the more holes the leaves get. The Monstera is currently one of the most popular houseplants and not without reason! It is a very strong houseplant that can be placed on many locations indoors. Furthermore, the plant has a strong air-purifying property and can grow quickly. The Swiss Cheese plant is a tropical climber that can climb extremely high. Its characteristic aerial roots take up nutrients and moisture both from the tree trunk and from the air. In the jungle it is mostly dark, which is why the hole plant does well in a shady spot.
Care
The Monstera Deliciosa is a creeping climber and can stand drought well, but prefers a lot of water. Make sure that the potting soil always stays a little moist. Furthermore, as said before, the Monstera is not a difficult plant in terms of position, since the plant does not require much sunlight. As soon as the plant is satisfied, it can grow multiple new leaves per year. The growth rate decreases considerably at very low temperatures of ten degrees or less. Furthermore, the Monstera is a strong air-purifying plant.

The plant has a height of 50-60cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
