Description
Bring spring into your home with this beautiful Acacia dealbata Mimosa shrub! From January, the Mimosa already starts blooming with beautiful bright yellow flowers, which also smell delicious. Pompom yellow mimosa flowers are produced on this evergreen tree against a backdrop of feathery foliage. This fast-growing shrub originates from Australia and is evergreen and slightly hardy. The plant can be kept outside, however, it is recommended to bring it inside in case of frost. The Mimosa also does very well as a houseplant.
Care
The Mimosa prefers a sunny position with a little shade, so choose a sheltered position in full sun. Feed and water acacias regularly until they are fully mature. As they mature, acacias can develop good drought tolerance. Acacia dealbata naturally forms a single-stemmed tree, but can be pruned back at a young age to produce a multi-stemmed specimen.
Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
