Product details
Ribes Nigrum is a blackcurrant bush that produces many fruits. The blackcurrant blooms at the end of April/beginning of May with small greenish-white flowers. After flowering, blackcurrants form on one-year-old branches. The berries are very healthy with a high vitamin C content. The berry is used to make jam, jelly or juice (blackcurrant).
Care
Ribes nigrum must be pruned regularly to produce a rich crop of berries. After the harvest, you can completely prune away the branches that bore the fruit. The blackcurrant likes moist, nutrient-rich soil and prefers a sunny spot, but also does well in partial shade.
Size
The plant has a height of 25-40 cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is delivered in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9 cm.
